How to use this guide
This is your field reference for directing a book with ARC Engine. Nothing is selected yet—choose any field in the left sidebar to open its documentation.
- 1
Start with your idea
Open a new book from your account and fill the sections in order: basics, world, characters, story drive, guardrails, then Chapter 1.
- 2
Look up fields as you go
When a form field is unclear, find it in the A–Z list. Each entry explains what it means, how to write it well, and shows a short example.
- 3
Be specific
The engine writes stronger chapters when your direction is concrete. Prefer clear rules and vivid details over vague genre labels.
- 4
Save often, submit when complete
Save drafts anytime. Submit for review only after every required field is filled—this guide helps you get there with confidence.
Tip
Tap Browse fields to open the A–Z reference. Each entry includes a short signature, the field type, how to write it, and an example you can adapt.
